Day out at last

I've had a fab day out. About time too. I've not taken the he and she boss out anywhere good in ages but nagged them into going to some old favourites today. We went to a very nice garden and it didn't rain on us even though it said it was supposed to be a water garden. It rained last time I was there with the she boss. Me and the he boss climbed up the mountain for a picture. I think I must have worn him out as they left me in the car then while they went in the shop for a cuppa and cake.

We went to check out that one of my holiday places was still there but we didn't take the flappy house this time. I hope we do soon. We did have a paddle in the river though. Well I did but the he boss had his best wedding shoes on so that wasn't a lot of good.

We went then for a brilliant walk and a stop to enjoy the view of silly sheep. I think I look pretty noble here.

The bestest bit of all was when we got home and the she boss decided to measure out what she always feeds me. She's found out that she's been underfeeding me! Starving me more like if you ask me. I'm glad the he boss feeds me sometimes instead cos he always knows I want more. Things are looking up :-)

Lovely break from the house

We had a lovely time. The she boss took me back to my old favourite campsite It was a bit cold but we enjoyed it anyway. The she boss was kind and tucked me in under a blanket at night to keep me warm and it worked.
The only thing that was bad was that a loud bang kept happening. The she boss said it was a bird scarer but I think it was a MillieDog scarer. The cows across the river didn't seem too keen either. I went and hid in the car when I first heard it but I got a bit better. That's me hiding in the picture.
We went on some brill walks over my second favourite hills and the she boss managed good although she got a bit slower towards the end of a long one we did.
There was hardly anyone else around anywhere except for one lady who looked in the door when I was helping the she boss wash up. When I say helping, I mean I'm the quality controller she says. The lady said something and when the she boss said 'hello' she said "sorry, I thought you were the other lady!" I'm not that good at numbers but if she's one lady, the she boss is another and she thinks there's only one other that makes 3 in the world and even I know there's a lot more than that. For a start, there's all the ones who come to our house or we go out to meet. I think she needs to get out more and make some friends.

Holiday?

I think I've just had a holiday. I can't be sure cos it was all a bit strange but the he and she boss took me to a place we've been before where there's a good field to run around in. The bad thing is, there were big cows there today but I told them what I thought and they all ran through the gate to the next field. I think I may have a job if I go there again. I'm glad they listened to my common sense and didn't run my way. This is where we stayed:
That wooden house with all the windows in has a big bath in it and the she boss went in there for hours in the dark. I stayed on watch and helped wash her feet cos they were what needed it most especially as we'd been out for walks on nice hills:

The reason I say it wasn't much of a holiday is cos we didn't seem to walk very far at all and I had to be on the lead all the time cos there were lots of sheep around including some sweet little baahy baby ones. The she boss ended up walking slow and funny again and the he boss didn't seem to be up to much either. The night after we'd been on a pretty good walk, he didn't go to sleep at all and spent all the time going in the little room by the bedroom where the deep water bowl is. I usually like a drink in there but wasn't too sure after he'd been in. I think we were supposed to be there longer cos we seemed to leave in a bit of a hurry and the he boss has been asleep ever since we came back. Do you see what I mean about not being sure if it was really a holiday? We did see some very pretty flowers around though.
