Today the sun shone and me and the she boss had a drive to our favourite walking hills. It was fab. A bit busy but we managed to find some quiet to sit down and take it all in. You can't beat Malvern hills grass for back scratching. Bliss. Nowhere like it. The she boss really made my day with what she brought to eat. Usually I get handed a slice of orange or an apple core but today she had chicken!! And she was kind enough to give me all the skin and the knuckly bits. Mmmmm.
This was the flea's eye view from the top. Lots to see so I kept guard while she got her breath back. She didn't do bad seeing as we've not done it in a long time but she's not as quick as me.

Malvern Hills
The he boss took me and the she boss to my favourite hills today. Well, that has never happened before or not for a very long time. It was so nice to be back. Only thing was, because the she boss still keeps walking funny, she wasn't going to go anywhere very far on that leg so she turned round to go back which I didn't like. Then there were all these bangy scary noises so I decided to go back to the car as well. I did get dragged up for a bit of a run but I wasn't very happy considering where I was. Someone always comes along and spoils things don't they?
It gave me some time for thinking though and I've thought of something else that I will stand up for if you vote for me: NHS for dogs. I don't cost anyone too much money but as I get older I might so it would help the he and she boss out a bit.
I'm feeling the cold this winter and there's been a lot of it. I think it's because I am getting a bit older now. I've asked the she boss to knit me a nice warm coat in time for next winter cos I think I'll really need it then.

Favourite walk
I took the she boss back to my favourite hills today. We haven't been there for AGES and I was missing it too much. We didn't go very far - only one hill - the bumpy one but there were plenty of rabbits still there after all my time away. We got wet as well but it was good to be back on the high places with the wind in my tail. The she boss is still walking a bit funny and going very slow downhill so that must be why we only did one hill.
When we got back, all the noisy flashy things started again. The she boss was out in the garden watching them while she got the washing in. I think she's very brave. I'm glad I had a good walk as I might be tired enough to sleep and forget about them

Walkies
I must have got the wrong end of the stick. The she boss is showing no signs of going away but did take me back to Malvern Hills today. We had a fab time although it would have been nice to have gone with some other people to have more variety of scraps at lunchtime.
We had a couple of soakings which I don't like at all. It was VERY windy for a while too which is even worse. It worries me and I have to keep checking that the she boss is still there on the top of the hills. You never know what might happen in these big gusts. Also, it goes down my ears. It's alright for people, they put things over their heads to keep the wind out of their ears. There should be something for dogs too. Perhaps the friend Peter could come up with something - he's always having bright ideas. If I had floppy ears like labradors or spaniels then it wouldn't be a problem but I've got ears made for hearing.
There were alot of people there today - far too crowded. It meant that I was on the lead for a lot of it as some of the other dogs are a bit of a nuisance. Little pests. I don't know if it is my imagination but there seemed to be a disproportionate (big word eh?!) amount of men with white beards there today. Perhaps it's because they're the ones most likely to brave it when it's windy.
There's no grass like Malvern grass for having a good roll and scratch on either. Feel much better.
