Mice, continued

Well, it was all quiet here last night. No meeces running around. They must have known I was on the alert and the room door was open for me so I could get them if they went in there.
I showed the she boss where they're living. I don't think she's very happy cos she was saying if it gets really bad, they're going to have to take the carpet and a stair up! I tried to help and pull the carpet up myself but got into a lot of trouble for some reason. I can't win. Oh well, another night, another mouse. Maybe.
It's entertaining for me anyway. I can't really understand what the problem is although I'll admit they smell funny.

Bed!

I really do not like that bed! I've been sleeping on the big step of the stairs instead. It's the one half way where I stop. It's not at the bottom and it's not at the top. I'm not allowed any further up once everyone else is in bed. The he boss understands for once. I already had some company on the step but now he's brought another friend home for me so I don't get scared in the dark. At least they don't disturb my sleep

Day out

Today I went somewhere I've never been before. The she boss took me up to see where the Friend Peter lives. I had a really nice day exploring his house and garden and following the she boss up and down stairs ..... and up and down stairs ....... and up and down stairs ........ I'll certainly be fit after that lot. They're VERY steep. I found plenty of bits of paper to eat there. They took me for a nice walk too to somewhere near his house and I met some new dogs. They had a funny accent there though and I took a while to understand them. Same sort of smells though. I hope I go again
