Funny firemen

The she boss took me out today to have a cuppa and a walk. We took the friend Peter as well. The walk wasn't too long as there was a very black cloud coming our way and it looked like it might be a noisy one.
I see policemen on bikes going past my window sometimes but today, on our drive to the walking place I saw 2 firemen on bikes! They had lots of stuff in their bike bags and a little bottle of water each. That would be really useful eh?! They must have had fold-up beaters in their bags. We all had a chuckle

He's back!

Yay! The he boss came back tonight. Boy, was I pleased to see him. Especially as it had been a chaotic day here. Ed came and took that Beth away. See what I mean, I never know if she lives here or not. It was one of those strange days here that happen now and again. That Beth kept taking out things that were hiding in paper and getting very excited. I was excited because I like all that paper and she was kind enough to feed me some of it. I can't see what was so good about the things inside though. Ed managed to sneak into the garden with one of those fast things that go on two wheels that the she boss took me to the park with once. I hope that Beth doesn't get those sort of ideas. It wasn't much fun for me.
It was nice and quiet once everyone had gone and the fuss had died down. I went for a good walk with the she boss but I must admit to feeling abit nervous about going too far away from her after everything that's been happening. I suppose I've been a bit of a baby following her round everywhere. I do like it when she talks to me though. You'd be surprised what I learn about life

Walks on bikes

Where does the she boss get her ideas from? Today she put me and her bike both in the car at once and took us both to Sutton Park. The idea was great but it was a bit stressful for me as I was never sure where she was going to be when I came back out of the woods.
I think she did it to give herself some exercise but I definitely got the most as she had to wait for me to catch up after I'd gone after rabbits a few times. If we do this too often, I'll be losing weight and I don't think it's me who needs to (say no more!)

Little person Sara

We had the little person Sara here AGAIN today. This is getting a habit. Just when I thought I understood our routine. I'm not allowed in when she's here and have to stay in my bed in the sun lounge. It was a bit cold today but I'd rather not be in the house with her. She's very sweet but I find her a bit scary because I'm not used to little people and you never know what they might do next. She was playing with all that plastic stuff in the box too which I don't like because it makes a lot of noise.
I think she likes me and if I understood her a bit more, we could be good friends. Here she is looking at me through the window.
Because I was so good, the she boss took me for a walk later in Sutton Park. Huh. Some reward. It rained loads yesterday - flooded roads, snow, etc, etc so no one could go out. They all went out today instead to Sutton Park. EVERYONE was there - bikes, runners, little people, big people. I tell you what, I think those runners were there as new years' resolutions as most of them looked as though they hadn't run for a long, long time and were really struggling. What I'm saying is, because all those people and bikes were there, the she boss would hardly let me off the lead so it wasn't such a good run for me. Grrrr.
Then, after all that, she left me in the car for ages while she went off. I bet she went and had a nice hot drink and a read of a paper while I was left in the car getting cold and lonely. It was very dark by the time she came back and I was beginning to think she'd walked home and forgotten she'd come in the car, let alone brought me!

Bikes

The he boss keeps going out on his bike lately. He never takes me with him :( The she boss has taken me before now when she's been on her bike and it's good fun but not for tooo far. A long time ago, she tried to put me in the bag on the side of the bike but I was having none of that one. Grrrr. Apparently she'd seen someone else do it. What she think I got 4 legs for?
On the subject of bikes, the she boss was saying she saw lots of policemen on bikes all cycling very sensibly in line. Do you think they were doing their cycling proficiency test?!
