Saturday

Things just aren't right. The she boss isn't her normal self and hasn't been since we came back from the seaside. She sits around too much which is nice for cuddles but gets a bit boring compared to usual. She makes barky noises sometimes too a bit like me when I've been out running and it's really cold but I don't do it for long. She's been doing it for days and I hear her doing it in bed too.
She's pushed the noisy sucky thing round the house today like usually happens today but I must say, she didn't do a very good job in my opinion. Too much corner cutting. At least she gave my blankets a good go so they feel a bit fresher. It's a lovely day outside and she should be taking me somewhere nice. I suppose it doesn't help that the he boss went off in her car early today though but we could have got on one of those train or bus things. I wouldn't have minded.

Moving house

I think that mouse has moved house and is living over my kitchen. It must have been all that smelly stuff we put in the hot water when we cleaned the pantry out. I thought I'd heard him coughing.

Noises

Still coughing but trying hard not to cos I heard the she boss say something about vets. I let her have a look down my throat but she said she couldn't see anything and I heard her saying that the vet might want to send me to sleep so he could have a better look! Is that the same as 'put me to sleep'? I'm not THAT bad. I've really got to try and stop so nothing really bad happens to me. I'd miss everyone too much. I don't think I'm coughing as often as I was. I didn't wake anyone up last night anyway.
The he boss didn't believe I was coughing. He thought I was just doing a good impersonation of that nice smelling bread making thing like the starling birds copying the phone noises

Talking of squirrels ..........

I very nearly caught one today in my garden. If I hadn't hesitated at the last minute to work out whether to grab his tail or the rest of him, I would have. Next time. That's if he dares to come back.
By the way, the he boss has been coughing and I think he might have given it to me. I hope he doesn't give me his toothache as well
