Strange things

The she boss does the strangest things. Today she brought a whole tree into the house! I must admit it's quite a small one by any standard but it is still a tree. She had to put it on a table otherwise we'd have fallen over it. Mind you, she's put a load of lights on it so we would have seen it if she had left it on the floor somewhere.
Then she cut up and folded lots of bits of paper and put those on it. The best bit is the noisy stuff she made in the kitchen and tied together to go on the tree. It smells nice and definitely tastes real good. I know cos she kept dropping bits while she was putting the string through it.
She's put some bows on as well to help hold it everything together. I think the little people at the bottom are to keep guard in case I feel like eating anything off the tree. I must say it looks very pretty and I think she's done a good job even if it is a bit of a strange thing to do.  I vaguely remember her doing something strange like this before.

Nearly Christmas, I believe

It worked. I told them they were being boring and now we've got some pretty good lights as well. No tree in the house mind you. I don't know what's happening about that. I like it when there's chocolate I can get at. I'm good at taking the chocolate out and leaving the paper on the tree to make sure it's still a decoration.
That Beth and Ed put some pictures up of theirs and I'm most envious of Gary Cat. http://bethdoodles.blogspot.com/2009/12/our-tree-is-up.html I hope he doesn't wreck it though. You know what cats are like

House full

EVERYONE'S been living here again. And now they've all cleared off. Talk about confusing. We've had Sammy and that Beth who stayed and kept me company all day. Even thefriendPeter came and ate some of our food here. I haven't seen him in ages. Now they've all gone. Perhaps they've gone back to see Ed and Abimaro cos they weren't around and I haven't seen them in a while either. I hope they're OK. And how about Gary Cat? I still quite miss him. It would be good to go and spend some time chilling with him again too.
Lots of houses around here have got their pretty lights in the window again so that time with all the paper must be coming up. I don't know what's going on here cos there's no sign of anything. I better get on to them.

It worked

Thank you to all who signed my pawtition. A picture to show that it worked. They've even put some lights on it now so I know it's there and can avoid it.
While I'm here, something for you to look at: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/scienceandtechnology/science/sciencenews/3659416/Dogs-can-be-jealous-say-scientists.html I always knew we were higher beans. Why does it take so long for those human ones to catch on?

Little days

I don't know what's going on but these days are getting very little. They're getting squeezed from either end by the night time and they keep making me get up in the morning when it still looks night to me. The she boss has been looking at where all the days are going on a googly earth thingy and she says I should be thankful I don't live in Scrabster. Yeah. I am.
I think all this darkness must be why everyone's putting lights everywhere. We've been out round the streets a few times at night to have a look at them. Some people seem to have put them on trees inside their houses!! The he boss has put a tree in our house but it looks as though that's it. It's been blocking my view out of the window for 2 days now and it's still just a tree. I could understand it if there were flowers or something on it but just a tree?! It's a good job I'm a MillieDog and not a BillyDog. It could get embarrassing

Strange walkies

Well that was the strangest walk the she boss has ever taken me on yet. Instead of nice fields and grass, we walked all round the shops and other places where all the people go. I never realised how many people like shops at night. There was this markety thing with lots of nice smells and pretty lights.

We didn't hang around there though. We kept stopping to talk to lots of people and gave them sandwiches and cups of coffee. They were really friendly and liked me lots. Some of them had other dogs with them too and we were all very well behaved.
When we got back to the car, who should we see but my friend Robin. He makes nice clothes called Sacclothanashes that the she boss and Sammy like. I haven't seen him in aaggeess and boy, were we pleased to see each other. He smells different from last time. I think he's got a little person at home now.
