Big days again
We've got big days now again and it's still day when the she boss brings my car onto my drive. I think she likes it and is starting to come in my garden more again with me. She was digging up some of the prickly branches for me so I can run through the bushes better without anything hurting me. I don't think the bushes liked her disturbing their peace cos one of them jumped up and poked her in the eye. It looks very red. It's a good job it's not THE BIG WEDDING DAY just yet. I hear rumour that I can't go this time and that theFriendPeter is going to come on holiday here for some good company. I shall look forward to that.

Weekends
(Contented sigh) That's been a real nice couple of days. I've seen lots of friends - dogs and people, taken some for walks including a baby on a lady's back, helped the he and she boss in the garden particularly checking the land for frogs and done a lot of chilling in the garden. There's still no noisy things except birds in the sky and life's good for me.

Garden fiends
This fella came in our garden today. It looks like the same one who came to see me at home last year. I've got nasty memories of that when I went out to see him and all his aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, cousins, grannies, grandads and especially his mum and dad came and had a go at me so I'm not making the same mistake this year. Why can't they just keep away if they're not prepared to be friendly?

Frogs is back
It's that time of year again. The he and she boss have been in the garden for ages with me the last few days and there are suddenly loads of frogs around for me to play with again. They're good fun and I'm not sure why I get told off for it especially as sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.
We've been having LOADS of visitors too which is why I've been too busy to write my life up. I don't know what it's all about but I'm really enjoying it and everyone so far has been liking me. I hope this keeps up

Yet more friends
I've had a great weekend all in all. What with seeing Claire again and then today, we had five friends round to visit me. Yes, five! One of them was Zsoka who I already know well and it was nice to see her except when I wasn't sure if she was going to nick my biscuits. I had lots and lots of fuss and attention and they left me some tasty scraps for my dinner. It was nice and sunny as well so they all came in the garden with me for quite a while to watch me running around.

Fun Saturdays
I like Saturdays. I'm not sure that the he and she boss do. They seem very busy but I like it cos they're there and they do stuff that makes me laugh and is good for games. I do get told off sometimes though; especially when I attack the noisy thing in the garden that they push round.
Last night was exciting too. The she boss came home very late. She'd been somewhere for ages with my friend Peter. It was one of those times I thought he'd come to see me but then went off. He wasn't here long when they came back either but then Sammy came home and I went up with them to talk. THEN that Beth came home even later. She seems to be living here again. I wonder how long for. She had a friend come round today but the squirrel in the garden was more interesting
While I'm here, take a look at this and no, I'm not going with him next time: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7637905.stm I'm just a bit puzzled how it all works and why the setting the jets off while he was still in that little plane

Holiday?
Me and the she boss went on holiday to the garden last night and slept in the flappy house out there. I got woken up by some little creature scratching along trying to come in but is was good to be in there again. She's putting it away now so it doesn't look like it will happen again soon :-(

Saturday
It's been good to be back to a normal Saturday at last. Both he and she boss have been pushing those noisy things around the house and garden today as well as a different noisy thing that made the carpets all wet and I wasn't allowed on them. It's OK now though. I've snuck a quick roll around on them to check them out and to get my perfume back on them.
The she boss was getting rid of all the long grass round the edges with a new noisy thing and she got a frog!! (Stunned pa(w)use) I would never do anything like that to a frog. I think she was a bit sad so she can't have meant to do it

Garden holiday
I thought you might like to know that I've checked the flappy houses in the garden again today a couple of times and there's still no one on holiday in them. Can't say I blame them cos it's STILL raining. And cold.

Catssss
That Beth seems to have come back here to live again. And again. And again. Honestly, a dog doesn't know if it's coming or going. She comes for a bit and just when I think that's it, she disappears again. Talking of disappearing, the he boss hasn't shown up yet. I hope he's coming back. I'm beginning to miss him.
About that Beth. She kindly alerted me to a presumptuous cat daring to come into my garden today. Of course, I gave chase and all but caught it. I managed to get under the fence at the end of the garden after it. I knew I did fit under there but have never taken advantage before. The trouble was, it had been a real tight squeeze and it hurt a bit although I hadn't noticed in all the excitement. I really didn't want to have to come back that way so I called my family. Only trouble was, they were eating their dinner and didn't bother to answer. I must have shouted for at least 20 minutes before the she boss came and opened the gate. She said she thought I was still shouting at the cat but she should know me better than that. I've never shouted for that long before. I'm quite a quiet sort of being really despite all appearances. I've got a sore throat now.

More holidays?
There a weird lot where I live. The she boss put the flappy holiday house up in the garden but she didn't go on holiday in it with me. Instead, I went out somewhere new with the he and she boss for a nice walk just as though we were on holiday yesterday. We had a good time. It was very hot and we found some caves to cool off in.
Little person Sara came round today. They all went off to somewhere with animals. I could hear little person talking about exciting and scary animals and they smelt of lots of different ones when they came back. That was all fine except they all had a picnic in the flappy house without me when they came back. It would have been nice to have been included. That Sara hasn't half got a lot to say for herself these days. She mentions my name a lot too. I'm impressed as she gives me my full pedigree title of THE Millie Dog. What a star

Friends and walks
Yesterday was great. The she boss took me to Malvern hills and took a couple of friends for her as well as one for me! His name was Leo. He's still a young one and I had to put him in his place a fair bit especially when he got a bit close to my grapes at lunch time. It was a good day though

Today I had a nice surprise. Little person Sara came round and I stayed well out of the way even when she was in the garden. I could hear her saying 'Hello MillieDog' though so I know she likes me. When I went out in the garden later, one of those nice flappy houses was out there that me and the she boss go on holiday in. It was a new bigger one that she must have bought me and wanted to surprise me. I got quite excited as I thought we might have been going away in it now but it doesn't look like it. She's put it away again now but I hope she takes me soon

Fun n games
This weather's fab innit. The really good thing about it is that the he and she boss have been around at home alot but been taking me for some good walks as well. They always seem to be doing something though. Why don't they just chill and play with me? I've got my ways of making sure they do though
Today me and the she boss had real good fun. One of my favourite things in the garden is the swingy hammock but they've been so busy, they only got round to putting it out today and then I thought it was going to be just for show.
Eventually the she boss got in it. She didn't see me coming (hehe) but I came out of nowhere and landed right in the middle of her. It was brilliant. She laughed so loud the neighbours must have wondered what was going on!
I jumped off after a bit and had one of my mad run rounds to celebrate but the hammock was right in the middle of my run so I had to keep having another jump on. What a laugh. You like the pic? That was one of the quieter moments
The other thing that happened today was that they cut all the big grass in the garden over the fence. It was very BIG, as big as me without wellies. All the frogs that must have been living in there tried to come and be my friends and live in our garden. I like frogs but I don't think I want THAT many. I like the way they jump and I can catch them. I don't hurt them but did you know they squeal when they're excited? I suppose they might be a bit frightened of me throwing them when they squeal but I'd like to think they were just excited.
I'm glad I was a whippet cross and not a greyhound but it's a close thing. I think they're really boring. They don't seem to do anything. What do you think?

Life in general
I haven't written for a bit have I? Mainly because I haven't had much to write about. Life's been very quiet for me because the bosses seem to have been out a lot. I know the she boss wanted to take me with them on Saturday but the he boss wouldn't let her. Grrrr. I turns out I would have got very wet and cold though and I hate that so better off in the warm. At least I had a good walk when they got back.
I've had some visitors. Blobby Bobby's he boss came to see me. That caused me great excitement as he enjoys a good game and even came out in the garden with me. The friend Peter came again yesterday for a while and I had a nice cuddle on the she boss's lap while he was here. I haven't done that for a while and forgot how cosy it is.
Today, 2 men came who I thought were going to be good fun but then they both disappeared up a ladder on to the roof for hours. Where's the fun in that? I had to keep out of the way as well because all this stuff kept falling down into the back garden. Don't these people know how dangerous they can be to us gentle dogs? They were nice to me when they were down though. I don't know what they were doing up there. I can't see much different.
And now, Candice has come to see me. I haven't seen her for ages but all she seems to be doing is talking to the he boss. I thought she'd come to see me!
